Simplifying the form to its essence has always concerned me, becoming the basic idea of ‌‌my work. The clean shapes, reduced to their essence detach themselves from the archaic forms of neolithic pottery, from which I borrowed modeling and decoration techniques, adapting them to my sculptures, sculptures which are living primarily through the force of the primary form ("mother form") that occasionally interact with elements of a different consistency and materiality (wood, metal).

In a world with complicated things, in which the artistic object must be as shocking and as violent as possible, I go back to the simple form, to the pure and precious surface polish, trying to bring an oasis of calm and apparent simplicity to this world.
